OMYA NORTH AMERICA, INC. Impasse Resolution Strategy and Stakeholder Outreach CLF Ventures is working with Omya North America, Inc. to improve relations with the local community surrounding its Florence, Vermont facility. To date, CLFV has worked to increase the company’s transparency by hosting a community meeting, establishing a community advisory group, and developing multidimensional communication tools. CLF Ventures is undertaking independent review to create a solution to Omya’s tailings management conflict that protects public heath and the environment. CLFV will provide a rigorous look at Omya's practices, seeking to provide assistance with challenges both internal and external to the company. Serving partly as a technical advisor, but also as an independent intermediary, CLFV will seek to assure that all environmental and community concerns are responsibly addressed by Omya. CLF Ventures is working with Omya to craft a solid environmental solution in response to years of contentious disputes and unresolved permitting battles.
