By assisting clients with their project planning and strategy development, CLF Ventures promotes project integrity, creates positive community relations, and upholds commitments to social and environmental principles. Our team has the planning expertise to make projects run smoothly.

Communication and Media Strategies
    Developing a communication and media strategy helps clients build trust with the surrounding community and garner the needed project support. Our communication professionals prepare and implement clear and effective communication strategies from project inception to completion, thereby reducing project risk, increasing project durability, and fostering positive community relations.
Graceful Exit Strategies
    CLF Ventures helps clients manage the complex challenges of surplus asset disposition. We call this our "Graceful Exit Strategy Practice". We work closely with clients to formally identify internal business objectives, survey key stakeholders from a regulatory and community perspective, and develop a series of closure scenarios that optimize the balance between corporate risk exposure, return on investment and long-term stakeholder relations.
Smart Growth Planning
    Smart growth is development that serves the economy, the community, and the environment. Smart growth in new development is more town-centered; is auto-accessible but also accommodates transit and pedestrian activity; and has a greater mix of housing, commercial, and retail uses. Unlike sprawling development, smart growth recognizes connections between development and quality of life. It also promotes protection of natural resource and improved air and water quality. CLF Ventures works with clients to plan developments that support smart growth principles.
Project Risk Management
    From conception to completion, projects are characterized by risks. CLF Ventures identifies these project risks and systematically reduces them. As a result, clients improve their relationship with the stakeholder community and build trust and legitimacy. We draw on a wide range and depth of expertise, including both public and private experience, to successfully manage project risks.
